PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hook from being easily detached at the time of using an antenna as the hook. SOLUTION: This rod antenna has a mounting member 2 which can be fixed to a portable radio equipment in an electrically connected state and a rod member 3 having a base end part 3a and a free end part 3b and rotationally supported by the member 2 through a shaft 5 positioned at the part 3a. An energizing means capable of rotating the member 3 in the direction of abutting to the side surface part of a radio equipment when the antenna 1 is fixed to the radio equipment is interposed between the member 2 and the member 3.
