PRODUCTION OF HYDROPEROXIDE COMPOUNDS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a hydroperoxide compound by oxidizing a hydrocarbon with an oxygen-containing gas, in a high concentration and in a high selectivity by continuously removing organic acids as by-products from a reactor. SOLUTION: This method for producing a hydroperoxide compound comprises charging a hydrocarbon of raw material into a reactor and then blowing an oxidizing gas containing oxygen in the liquid phase portion containing the hydrocarbon to oxidize the hydrocarbon into the corresponding hydroperoxide compound. Therein, a purging gas is continuously blown in the gaseous phase of the reactor to continuously remove organic acids as by-products from the reactor.
