PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dump list outputting method for a database capable of realizing an output in such a format as to satisfy a user's request with a simple input instruction from a user and also flexibly corresponding to the change, etc., of database definition. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a means 11 which produces a format table 5 representing definition information being the base for an output format for a database outputting a dump list from a structure definition table 4 storing the structure definition information for the database, a means 12 which decides the output limit for the dump list in accordance with optional condition set by a user, a means 13 which decides an output format for the dump list according to the output limit on the basis of the information of the format table and means 14 and 15 which read real data of the database 6 and output the dump list according to the decided output format. |
