PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED array printer capable of suppressing deviation and variation in a light quantity distribution of each LED element and to prevent occurrence of a vertical stripe in an image. SOLUTION: As an emission intensity of an LED element 16 is raised at a portion of an individual electrode provided to a light emitting section 20, the each individual electrode 21a, 21b is divided into plural parts to be provided to each LED element 16 and the arrangement, shape and energizing quantity are controlled so that deviation and variation in a light quantity distribution of each LED element 16 can be suppressed, thereby preventing occurrence of a vertical stripe such as a whiter stripe or a black stripe in an image. As the individual electrodes 21a, 21b are controlled independently, dots of which number is the same as the number of individual electrodes 21a, 21b can be formed so that the resolution in appearance can be raised. |
