PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low cost fuel tank to prevent escape of fuel evaporation by providing a capacity compensation part capable of changing capacity corresponding to a filled condition of fuel in the tank. SOLUTION: A wall 1 has a support member 3 and a capacity compensation part 4 filled with fuel. The part 4 is formed in a bladder shape and can increase its capacity to reach the member 3 according to the filled condition of fuel, and also can decrease the capacity to the minimum. The member 3 is formed hermetically except a check valve 5 and a pressure regulating valve 6. Between the member 3 and a capacity compensation member 4, air to be sucked in from the circumference through the valve 6 exists. The check valve 5 enables escape of air from a fuel tank when fuel is supplied again. The check valve 5 has a filter element 7 detaining evaporation gas diffused after it passes through the part 4.
