PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an on-vehicle display device which is capable of effectively enhancing the visibility in the nighttime with relatively small electric power, enables a user to easily form and exchange various displays and is suitable for miniaturization. SOLUTION: This on-vehicle display device has a display sheet 22 which is formed by printing a transmissible or translucent sheet with desired display patterns, a frame 11 which fixes this display sheet 22, a light source 27 which illuminates the display sheet from the rear surface of the display sheet and a power source circuit 28 which forms a power source for driving the light source from a DC power source mounted on a vehicle. The display sheet 22 is formed by printing a plastic film with desired display patterns by using a printer of an ink jet type.
