PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in responsiveness caused by temperature change. SOLUTION: A blade shoe 2 made of resin and curving like an arc has a chain sliding surface 2a, and its base end is rotatably installed around a metal pin fixed on a base and the other end is slidably installed on a sliding surface formed on the base. A blade spring 3 like a plate spring is attached to a reverse side of the chain-sliding surface on the blade shoe 2. Metal bushes 5 and 6 are forcibly inserted in the base end of the blade shoe 2 and pins are rotatably inserted into the bushes 5 and 6. In this case, since the bushes 5, 6, and pins are all metallic, clearance among bushes 5, 6, and pins are constantly maintained in spite of sharp temperature change. Therefore, deterioration of responsiveness of a blade tensioner caused by temperature change is prevented.
