PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound absorbing wheel cover for a vehicle for reducing costs for production and installation to a vehicle. SOLUTION: A sound absorbing wheel cover for a vehicle is provided with a main body part fixed to a vehicle body and formed of a rigid material covering a part of the wheel and a porous elastic member fixed on the face opposed to the wheel in the main body part, provided with a porosity of 30-60%, and constructed of 80-95 wt.% of rubber grain and 5-20 wt.% of a binder. The sound absorbing wheel cover for a vehicle is provided with sound absorbing effect absorbing sound around a wheel as the porous elastic member is arranged on the face opposed to the wheel.
