PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a washer from being unfastened by easily visually finding the unfastening site of a bolt and a nut on a building and the like. SOLUTION: A washer 1 is coated with a coating 3, in such manner that it is separated from the washer when a bolt 2 or a nut is fastened with a predetermined fastening force. Particularly, it is desirable that the washer 1 be coated with the coating 3 having a color opposite to the color of the bolt 2 or nut to be fastened so that it can be visually discriminated from a far place. As the coating 3, an oil coating, a resin coating, a cellulose coating and a synthetic resin coating can be used, 1-25% of flat base (delustering agent) is preferably mixed in the coating, and in particular the coating is completely flatted.
