PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a pressure-sensitive recording material in which the burden to the environment is reduced without sacrificing general performances such as the coloring density, the formation of coloring fouls in processing and others required for the pressure-sensitive recording material and also in the case desensitizing ink layer is formed on a developer layer, a vegetable oil in microcapsules is permeated through a substrate when recording is carried out so that the desenitizing ink layer is protected from being turned into the form of a transparent recorded image. SOLUTION: A pressure-sensitive recording material is provided with a coloring agent layer 20 containing microcapsules 14 wrapping an electron donative coloring agent dissolved in a solvent composed of a vegetable oil and formed on one face of a substrate 10 and a developer layer 16 containing an electron accepting developer formed on the other face of the substrate 10, and a layer composed of a latex binder as a main component is formed between the substrate 10 and the coloring agent layer 20, and the developer 16 is composed of an active clay. |
