<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminous character number plate affecting no electric apparatus in an automobile main body and allowing easy specification of a failure point in the case of a failure. SOLUTION: In a luminous character number plate, an EL light emitting body connected to a battery in an automobile via a direct/alternating current converter 8 is arranged inside a case for illuminating a character part, and a fuse 10 and a light emitting diode 11 are arranged between the battery and the direct/alternating current converter 8. In this way, in the case of reverse flow of overcurrent, inflow of the overcurrent to an automobile main body can be prevented by the fuse 10. In the case of a failure of the luminous character number plate (EL light emitting body), the light emitting diode emits no light, so that specification of the failure position is easy.</p> |
