PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform optimal recording even if a disk structure, a recording film composition, etc., differ in the type by recording the codes presenting a system for moving a first pulse, and a system for varying the width of the first pulse beforehand. SOLUTION: A first pulse moving amount varies according to a mark part and a directly following space part. Here, the mark part and space part are both classified into three moving amounts of 3T, 4T, and 5T or more in total, respectively, and nine moving amounts are set at maximum according to the combination of the mark parts and the space parts. An output signal of a pulse moving circuit 1510 is inputted to a laser driving circuit 1509, and emitting light is performed with the peak power for an H-level time of the output signal and emitting light is performed with the bias power for an L-level time, and thus a predetermined mark row is formed. When the recording area of the information for deciding an adjusting system of the first pulse, etc., is positioned inside of the recording area of position information on the start and end edges of the mark and reproduces from the inner periphery, the recording system can be recognized speedily. |
