CDMA RECEIVER AND CDMA RECEIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly establish initial synchronization and also to reduce a consumption current in a radio communication system of the CDMA(code division multiple access) mode. SOLUTION: In this CDMA receiving method, a switch controlling part 108 inputs mode information showing whether the current self-station state is in a initial synchronization mode being a power supply input mode or in a waiting mode being a sell moving mode and controls switching devices 109 and 115 so that a matched filter 113 performs correlation processing in the initial synchronization mode and a sliding correlator 114 performs correlation processing in the waiting mode.
