PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently hold charges without reducing a numerical aperture and to obtain a bright display of an EL element by providing first hold capacity and second hold capacity forming capacity between a third hold capacity electrode connected to a drive source and a second hold capacity electrode. SOLUTION: A first hold capacity electrode 54 is arranged in the vicinity of a first TFT 30. The capacity is formed storing the charges between the first hold capacity electrode 54 and the second hold capacity electrode 55 connected to the source of the first TFT 30, and the capacity is formed, and the capacity consisting of the first, second hold capacity electrodes 54, 55 is the first hold capacity. Further, the capacity is formed storing the charges between the second hold capacity electrode 55 and the third hold capacity electrode 90. This is the second hold capacity. These first, second hold capacity formed in such a manner function so that the total of these capacity holds a voltage applied to a gate electrode 42 of a second TFT 40. |
