PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub having a surely graspable handle without requiring the drilling of a prepared hole for mounting the handle on the bathtub by providing handles in about the middle of the opposed inside surfaces of the opening of a bathtub decorative rail. SOLUTION: A bathtub part 11 is formed of a substantially square bottom wall 111, a circumferential wall 112 raised from the circumferential edge thereof, and a rail extended horizontally from the upper edge of the circumferential wall 112, which are integrally molded so as to have an upper opening 11a. A bathtub decorative rail 12 has a circumferential wall 121 having an inside surface continued to the inside surface to the opening part 12a thereof, which is suspended from the opening 12a, and the lower edge is placed on the rail of the bathtub part 11. Prepared holes for fixing handles 13 are formed through about in the middle of the opposed long edge sides of the circumferential wall 121 of the bathtub decorative rail 12. Thus, the handles 13 can be mounted on the bathtub decorative rail 12 by holding grip bars 131, inserting the bolts of the grip bars 131 to the prepared holes formed about in the center of the opposed long edge sides of the circumferential wall 121, and screwing and fastening nuts thereto from the reverse side of the circumferential wall 121. |
