PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a smooth going-up/down of stairs by providing a sliding tool in which a belt is wound around upper and lower pulleys on a side of a carrying vehicle contacting with an angle portion of each step of the stairs so as to turn freely. SOLUTION: In a carrying vehicle in which a pair of wheels 2 are journalled to a lower end of a frame 1 (pivot part) having a substantially rectangular shape viewed from the front and a load receiving base 8 is carried with the frame 1 at an upper position of the wheel 2, sliding tools are respectively provided at both lower ends of the frame 1. The tool 3 is structured such that a belt 5 is wound around between upper and lower pulleys 4A, 4B and the distance between the pulleys 4A, 4B is set to a length exceeding the length obtained by subtracting a wheel 2 size from the height of vertical wall of each step part of stairs. The tool is additionally provided with an agent to prevent generation of disengagement and dropping of the belt 5. Accordingly, at the time of going up and down the stairs, this carrying vehicle with the sliding tools can go up and down the stairs by the aid of the belt 5.
