PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent parts from being lost and to improve workability in a sample holder which can be housed in a rotor of a centrifuge by freely rotatably integrating an inner cover and an outer cover and providing a fall-off preventing means for preventing the fall-off of the outer cover to the inner cover. SOLUTION: To an inner cover 3, an O-ring 4 having almost same size as the diameter of a skirt part 6 thereof is fitted. A male screw is formed near the head part of a bottle 2, and a female screw is formed on the outer cover 5 so that it is screwed onto it. Further, in the central part of the outer cover 5, a through-hole is made so that it is engaged with a projection in the shape of a projecting part outer peripheral circumference of the inner cover 3, and the outer cover 5 and the inner cover 3 are engaged with each other and used as an integrated part. When tightening the inner cover 3 against the bottle 2 with the O-ring 4 and the outer cover 5 engaged therewith, design is made so that the inner cover 3 and the outer cover 5 are not disengaged by frictional force between the inner cover 3 and the bottle 2 and between the inner cover 3 and the outer cover 5. When replacing the O-ring 4 or the inner cover 3, however, disassembling can be done by force larger than the frictional force.
