PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly correct the output signal of an image sensor. SOLUTION: A white original 60 different from an original 43 is stuck on an original board glass 42 where the original 43 is placed. The beams radiated from a light source 41 under the glass 42 are reflected on both original 43 and 60 and theses reflected beams form the images on the CCD photodetectors 47 and 57 which output the image signals corresponding to the originals 43 and 60. The original 60 reflects the beams which are radiated from the same source 41 as the original 43 and accordingly it's possible to correct anytime the output signal of the photodetector 47, for example, that varies by the variation of the source 41 by means of the output signal of the photodetector 57, for example.
