PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make measurable resistance in a non-contact state. SOLUTION: The resistance measuring apparatus is equipped with a detection coil 1 provided away from an object to be measured, a high frequency oscillation circuit 2 for exciting the detection coil 1, a detection circuit 31 for detecting the voltage across both terminals of the detection coil 1, a correction circuit 32 for correcting the resistance value obtained from the output of the detection circuit 31 corresponding to the kind or thickness of the object to be measured, and a judge circuit 35 comparing the resistance value after correction with a predetermined value to judge the same.
