PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reflection efficiency and uniform a light projection face by setting a reflecting means on each side of a light-transmitting medium with a plurality of light-emitting elements. SOLUTION: Two reflecting plates 16 and 17 are set on the side faces of a light-transmitting medium 12 along an array of light-emitting diodes 14. Light emitted from the light-emitting diodes 14 advances downward via the light- transmitting medium 12. Most of Y-direction components among the emitted light are reflected by the reflecting plates 16 and 17 to reach a light-projection face 22. The light is reflected and not diffused in a Y direction. With respect to an X direction, the light spreads because of no reflecting plates arranged to the light-emitting diodes 14. Since the light is not diffused in the Y direction and spreads in the X direction, the light accordingly becomes uniform at the light projection face 22.
