PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostatic apparatus capable of reducing operation cost to a large extent. SOLUTION: A cooling means, a heating means and a water spraying means are provided to a thermostatic tank 10 and the cooling medium compressed by a compressor 21 is cooled and liquefied as is usual to be sent to the cooling means but a part of the cooling medium compressed to be raised in temp. is guided to the heating means as a high temp. gas to heat the thermostatic tank 10. A control means controlls the flow rates of two kinds of these cooling media to keep the temp. of the thermostatic tank 10 constant. Since heat discarded as waste heat heretofore is utilized to heat the thermostatic tank 10, operation cost can be reduced.
