PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize communication satisfying the real time property of the video of high definition and the high speed transfer of large capacity data in a limited area. SOLUTION: In the system, high speed switches 110-112 are installed in a telephone relay station 117, in a remote terminal 119 and in user buildings 102 and 103, all of which exist in a limited area 101. They are connected by optical fibers 114-116 and the user interfaces of large capacity file transfer service and high definition video real time service are provided. Data is transferred by using a communication frame composed of a header containing area ID information, industry ID information and user ID information and of transfer data, and high speed data communication is executed between the users in limited areas who use the video of high definition.
