PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal heat exchange-type distillation tower having a connecting structure by which a tube is connected to a tube plate on the tower-top side with high position precision by surely providing and fixing the tube plate at a specified position and connecting the upper end of the tube to a through-hole of the tube plate. SOLUTION: A tube plate 3a on the tower-top side is connected and fixed to a main-body shell 1 by using a tube plate mounting member 22 on the tower- top side, and a tube 25 is connected and fixed to the tube plate 3a by the use of a tube connecting member 24. Meanwhile, a single tube having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the tube plate 3a is used as the mounting member 22, the lower end is seal-welded to the upper face of the upper flange 1a of ths shell, and the upper end is seal-welded to the outer periphery of the tube plate 3a. Further, a tower-top cover 31 is detachably fixed to the shell 1 through a packing 26.
