PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a winding method in which the cross-sectional area of a winding slot is used effectively and the deformation and damages due to magnetization after assembling of a part corresponding to the inner side in the radial direction of a magnetic pole tooth in an insulating frame are prevented. SOLUTION: Regarding the back-and-forth movement M3 of a nozzle 4 in a winding machine, an outside winding position P and an inside winding position Q on the outermost side and the innermost side in the radial direction of magnetic pole teeth 12 are set, and an intermediate winding position R between the winding position P and the winding position Q is set. First, as a first winding process W1, during the back-and- forth movement M3 of the nozzle 4 between the outside winding position P and the inside winding position Q, a winding operation at e.g. about 10 to 90% of the total winding amount is performed. Then, as a second winding process W2, during the back-and-forth movement M3 of the nozzle 4 between the outside winding position P and the first intermediate winding position R, a winding operation for the remaining winding amount is performed. Thereby, from the upper part of a nearly uniform winding 25 by the first winding process W1, a winding 26 whose winding amount is more on the outside than on the inside in the radial direction of the magnetic pole teeth is executed.
