PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital convergence circuit where a digital convergence correction waveform is used and a CPU sets its correction amount so as to apply a high voltage to the waveform only when the magnitude of change is large thereby suppressing power loss. SOLUTION: The digital convergence circuit is provided with a CPU 1, a digital convergence correction waveform generating circuit 2 that is operated under the control of the CPU 1, and a convergence output circuit 3 that supplies a convergence current adjusted to a prescribed level to a convergence yoke, and also with at least a positive or negative correction voltage addition circuit 5 to apply a required additional correction voltage to the convergence output circuit 3 in the case of correcting convergence for a device using a CRT. The digital convergence circuit conducts digital convergence correction by superimposing the output of the circuit 5 onto an output of the circuit 3.
