PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply create a color chip that less depends on a light source by referring to a second three-dimensional lookup table(3DLUT) for indicating the relationship between an average color difference and an output signal value, and by selecting drawing conditions that least depend on the light source from a first 3DLUT for indicating the relationship between a chromaticity value and the output signal value. SOLUTION: A 3DLUT creation means 20 creates a first 3DLUT for indicating the relationship between the chromaticity value of a test patch P obtained from a spectrophotometric colorimeter 14 and the output signal value of a digital image- outputting device 12. Also, a 3DLUT creation means 24 creates a second 3DLUT for indicating the relationship between the average color difference of the chromaticity value being obtained by switching a light source 16 and the output signal value. A drawing condition decision means 28 refers to the second 3DLUT from a plurality of drawing conditions obtained from the first 3DLUT by a plural condition selection means 26 to create a desired color chip, and determines drawing conditions that less depend on the second 3DLUT. Then, a drawing condition execution means 30 executes the drawing conditions and density and area modulation methods, and controls the digital image-outputting device 12 for outputting the color chip.
