摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain damping force corresponding to the loading condition at stopping, when a hydraulic buffer expands and shrinks by placing an auxiliary spring in series on an upper part of a flange part of a stopper fixed to the upper end of a position detecting spring, and forming a projecting part for guiding the auxiliary spring from the inside. SOLUTION: This hydraulic buffer for vehicle, having a characteristic of the damping force varying in response to the loading condition of load, has a bypass passage for bypassing an expansion side and a pressure side valves arranged in both of an upper and a lower surfaces of a piston 3 and for short cutting an upper and a lower chambers partitioned by the piston 3 with each other. This hydraulic buffer also has a sleeve 5 for opening and closing the bypass passage with the downward energizing force of a reactive force spring and the pushing force of a position detecting spring 17. In this case, a stopper 9 is fitted to the upper end of the position detecting spring 17, and an auxiliary spring 8 is arranged in series, in the upper part of the flange part 9A of the stopper 9. A projecting part 9B for regulating the maximum deflection of the auxiliary spring 8 is formed over the stopper 9 for guiding the auxiliary spring 8.
