PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce rattle or abrasion of various bearing metals, and to main tain sliding property of a moving sheave in an axial direction by keeping back lash approximately zero in a gap in a peripheral direction between the moving sheave of a drive adjusting wheel and a spider in a V-belt type automatic trans mission. SOLUTION: Guide shoes 40, 45 for slidably guiding a moving sheave 11 slidably in an axial direction with respect to a spider 15 are respectively disposed to gaps in a peripheral direction between side surfaces 36, 37 in a peripheral direction of the spider 15 and guide surfaces 32a, 32b of a guide projection 32 of the moving sheave 11. At least one of the guide shoes 45 is formed into a wedge shape. The wedge-shaped guide shoe 45 is pushed to an outer side in a radial direction by centrifugal force, and each of the gaps in an axial direction is set to approximately zero, whereby rattle due to a rotation torque fluctuation can be reduced.
