PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent confusion from being caused to a user by confirming presence of the user entering image information, selecting a display form of a display means to be a display form of display progress information of an image output on the basis of, e.g. the received image information depending on the result of confirmation of the presence of the user, and displaying the information so as to provide proper display for the user. SOLUTION: The image output device is provided with a central processing unit 401 that allows an ID card detection section 209 to detect an ID number of a user staying in front of the image output device, confirms the presence of the user through the coincidence between the detected ID number and the ID number of the user entering image information and controls a display form of an LCD 104 depending on the result of confirmation of the presence of the user. Then the central processing unit 401 switches a display form the LCD 104 into a display form displaying progress information of an image output on the basis of the received image information and allows the LCD 104 to display the information when confirming the presence of the user. |
