<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and also easily prepare highly accurate printed data, especially printed data including character data without lowering the efficiency. SOLUTION: When data for printing is character data, the contour information of the data for printing is extracted on the basis of printing attributes added to the data for printing (step S3104), layout reference information being reference when the data for printing is laid out is set on the basis of the visible part height of a preliminarily defined reference character, the visible part width of the data for printing and the extracted contour information (steps S3105 and S3106), and the corresponding data for printing is laid out on the basis of set information (step S3107).</p> |
