BASE ISOLATION DEVICE WITH LOCK MECHANISM AND BUILDING EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily executed base isolation device with a lock mechanism capable of keeping a sufficient lock state with the structure simplified and not enlarged. SOLUTION: This device is comprised of a first rail 10 installed in base structure 1, a second rail 11 installed in a super structure 2 and extending in a direction orthogonal to the first rail 10, and a center block 12 for base- isolating and supporting the super structure 2 by the base structure 1 where a bottom part of the center block 12 engages with the first rail 10 in a displaceable manner and a top of the center block 12 engages with the second rail 11 in a displaceable manner. A base structure side lock engaging with a lock hole provided on the first rail 10 so that the lock can be freely inserted therein and a top structure side lock pin 22 engaging with a lock hole provided on the second rail 11 so that the lock pin can be freely inserted therein are installed in the center block 12. Lock pins 20 and 22 are driven to move thorough their lock holes by air bellows 23.
