PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To circulate multiple denominations and to improve fund operation efficiency with a small device whose installation area is small by permitting the storage of paper moneys for not less than two denominations in one denomination box. SOLUTION: A recycle box 23 is allocated as a recycle box for ten-thousand yen paper money and a paper money cassette 22 is added to a function for paper money setting. It is allocated for one-thousand yen paper money and five-thousand yen paper money. A user transports paper money inserted into a paper money receiving/paying port 21. Paper money which can be discriminated is stacked in a temporary holding part 27. When recognition input exists, paper money stacked in the temporary holding part 27 is transported to the discrimination part 25. Ten-thousand yen paper money is transported to the recycle box 23 and one thousand yen paper money and five-thousand yen paper money are transported to the receiving/paying port 21. The stacker of the temporary holding part 27 is saved and paper money in the receiving/paying port 21 is transported to the paper money cassette 22 and it is stored.
