<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of part items and the size and weight of a device by simplifying a driving mechanism necessary for traveling a tape recording medium in an information recorder using the tape recording medium. SOLUTION: An information recorder 1 has a recording head 3 for recording information on a tape recording medium 2, and the driving means 6 for a reel base 5T for constantly rotating a winding side reel 4T. Information is recorded on the tape recording medium 2 by the recording head 3 while the winding side reel 4T is rotated at a constant rotational speed by the driving means 6 without using a capstan or pinch roller. During reproducing, the recorded tape recording medium 2 is loaded in an information reproducing device, signals read by plural times of tracing operations carried out by a reproducing head for each track on the tape recording medium 2 are temporarily written in a storing means, and then by reconstructing information regarding the track based on the address information of each signal, information equivalent to one track is sequentially restored and reproduced.</p> |
