PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently construct a caisson skeleton by applying a suction load of a required magnitude. SOLUTION: This caisson skeleton 4 is provided with a base plate section 1, a columnar section 2 and a skirt section 3. The skirt section 3 is provided with an outer peripheral wall 3a arranged on the outer peripheral edge side of the base plate section 1 and inner peripheral walls 3b arranged at prescribed intervals on the inside of the outer peripheral wall 3a. A drain passage 6 is opened on the lower face side of the base plate section 1 at one end, it is extended upward to penetrate the base plate section 1 and the columnar section 2, and it is connected to a drain device not shown in the figure on the other end side. The caisson skeleton 4 is provided with an auxiliary drain passage 10. The auxiliary drain passage 10 is opened on the inner periphery of the outer peripheral wall 3a of the skirt section 3 and the inner and outer peripheries of the inner peripheral walls 3b at one end, it is connected to the drain device like the drain passage 6 on the other end side, and it is drained concurrently with the drain passage 6 when the drain device is driven.
