PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and quickly carry and store radioactive waste storage vessels facilitated in carrying and posture to disposal holes of the stratum. SOLUTION: This carriage and disposal device is provided with an elevator 25 capable of elevating along a vertical hole 15 placed in the stratum and a carriage dolly 27 put on the elevator 25 for descending. The carriage dolly 27 is provided with a running frame 34 capable of running from the elevator 25 to horizontal holes connecting to the vertical hole 15, a rotary frame 42 placed rotatably on the running frame 34, a rod support frame 43 placed reciprocally movably to the rotary frame 42 and a plurality of rods 9 for detaching the vessels horizontally rotatable supported by the rod support frame 43 and made capable of screwing in radioactive material storage vessels 14 for storing in disposal holes connecting to the horizontal holes.
