PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate collecting device eliminating the necessity for performing manual work on the way because the adhesion of a filter portion to the depressed portion provided to the upper surface of an upper holder portion can be prevented and fitted to the automation of the assembling and attachment of the filter portion. SOLUTION: In a particulate collecting device D wherein upper and lower holder portions 7, 8 connecting a filter portion 5 for collecting a particulate are provided in a sampling flow passage through which diesel engine exhaust gas flows so as to freely approach and separate mutually, a depressed portion 13 in which the upper part of the filter portion 5 is fitted is provided to the undersurface of the upper holder portion 7 and a freely protrusible and retractable ejection member 15 and the spring 16 for energizing the ejection member 15 downwardly are inserted in the hole 14 provided to the depressed portion 13.
