PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely combust combustible components of exhaust gas which is discharged from a melting chamber. SOLUTION: A secondary combustion device is constituted such that exhaust gas much containing combustible components, which is discharged from a melting chamber, is introduced into a secondary combusting chamber 21 for secondary combustion. Specifically, a mixing portion 23 is formed in the secondary combusting chamber 21 being faced with an exhaust gas introducing port 22 for introducing exhaust gas from a melting chamber 12. A space for a secondary combustion portion 24 is formed above the mixing portion 23 and a dust discharge portion 25 is formed below the portion 23. A secondary air high velocity nozzle 31 for blowing secondary air with high velocity into exhaust gas from above a vertical rear wall 23e facing the port 22, and an upper front inclined wall 23a arranged being faced with the nozzle 31, for guiding the secondary air below to form a swirling flow to be mixed with the exhaust gas, are provided at the mixing portion 23. A secondary combustion burner 32 is arranged above the nozzle 31.
