<p>PURPOSE:To provide a color developer having excellent stability of electrostatic chargeability and durability in various environments. CONSTITUTION:This color developer is composed of a color toner contg. at least nonmagnetic colorant-contg. resin particles and an additive and a carrier. The additive in the toner is fine titanium oxide particles having 0.02-0.2mum particle diameter and 20-80% hydrophobic degree. The carrier is obtd. by coating a core material with 0.05-5.0wt.% resin basing on the amt. of the core material and has 10-200mum wt. average particle diameter. The number average mol. wt. of the coating resin is 10,000-200,000, the glass transition temp. of the resin is 55-140 deg.C and the ratio of the specific surface area (cm<2>/g) of the carrier measured by the BET method to that measured by a transmission method is 1.1-1.7.</p> |
