PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a logical layout of an air conditioner set up in a corner of a living room and eliminate temperature unevenness in indoor air conditioned temperatures and enhance comfortability by providing a heat exchanger held with a water receiving pan on the lee side of a front grille one by another and a cross flow fan in an indoor heat exchanger which is in trapezoidal shape like a fan. SOLUTION: A quarter-arc and fan-shaped trapezoidal indoor equipment 1, which is mounted in close contact with a ceiling in a living room and a wall corner and provided with an arc-shaped air outlet 6a, is provided with a front grille 4, which is an air inlet, on the lower part. On the lee side, there are provided a heat exchanger 3 held with a water receiving pan 5 and a cross flow fan 2 enveloped with a stabilizer 7 and a rear casing 8 while the air outlet 6a is provided on a part of an arc-shaped side wall. A substantially triangle- shaped transmission box 9 is provided in a triangle-shaped corner area between the rear casing 8 and an outside box 10. This construction makes it possible to blow out the air conditioned air widely from the quarter arc-shaped air outlet 6a and eliminate unevenness in the temperature of the air conditioned indoor air, thereby enhancing comfortability. |
