SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in supply of warning audible signal on seaplane descent to pilot before preset altitude threshold above sea surface or ground. In case of descent of seaplane or aircraft below preset threshold, audible signals are furnished to keep pilot informed on present altitude. Combined audible code corresponds to each magnitude of altitude. Changes in audible codes in time show direction and magnitude of vertical velocity.
