Accelerator (1) has sensor providing to supervisor (2) the position of accelerator. Power output of engine (3) is done through transmission (4) having velocity sensor (5) and driven wheels (6). Sensor output is linked to supervisor. Brake pedal (7) has sensor for start of stroke with output linked to supervisor. Method comprises reading and checking accelerator position and requested torque. An Independent claim is also included for the method determining guide line torque of power unit of car in function of accelerator position.
