The unit comprises of a main feed conduit (6) that is connected to the fresh air intake. An evaporator (5) is mounted in a vertical orientation within this conduit prior to a division where the airflow can be directed through three chambers (25,26,27), top, middle and lower respectively. The junctions between conduits are controlled via butterfly valve assemblies dependent upon the operational mode of the unit.
