<p>A mounting opening is formed at one end portion of a carriage arm, and a raised portion which is smaller than the mounting opening is formed at one end portion of a load arm. When the load arm is mounted on the carriage arm, the raised portion is press-fitted into the mounting opening by a press-fit tool. The raised portion is flared in the mounting opening, and is pressed onto the inner wall of the mounting opening. Consequently, the raised portion deforms the surface of the inner wall of the mounting opening with plastic deformation and bites into the wall. Thereby, the load arm is fixedly mounted on the carriage arm.</p> |
