<p>The present invention is directed to a golf ball (100) comprising a soft cover (102) and a hard cover (102) to produce a resulting molded golf ball having reduced spin rate. The golf ball (100) comprises one or more mentle layers (20, 30) and a cellular (40) or liquid core (50) component. The golf ball (40) may also comprise an optional polymeric spherical substrate (30) inwardly disposed relative to the one or more metal mentle layers (20, 30). The golf ball (100) of the present invention may also utilize an enlarged diameter which serves to further reduce spin rate. The resulting golf ball exhibits properties of reduce spin rate without sacrificing durability, playability and resilience.</p> |
