<p>A disc unit comprising a CD carrying mechanism including a roller (11) for carrying in and removing CDs (disc) of different outer diameters, a clamp lever turning mechanism for turning and retracting a clamp lever (17) to a position not interfering with an MD (cartridge) (24) when the MD (24) moved while being fitted in a holder (25) is carried in and for turning the clamp lever (17) to an initial position at the time of MD (24) removal, and an MD carrying device for carrying in the MD (24) as the clamp lever (17) is retracted as above and for removing the MD (24) as the clamp lever (17) is turned to the initial position, the CD carrying mechanism and the clamp lever turning mechanism being operated by a common drive motor.</p> |
