A fixing element (25) in a heel plate (20) presses the axle. A holder (13) is disposed behind the axle. The pedal plate (10) has axle receiving holes located axially outward. The pedal plate (10) and heel plate are relatively pivoted. A slide bearing, O-ring are provided in each axle receiving hole. The axle ends are provided with thread, which are tightened with the nuts.
