The monitoring arrangement (S-BOX) has a temporary memory for image information, an evaluation device for determining deviations and coincidences between image information and an automatic selection device for setting up a link to a remote second terminal (SERVER) with a predefined call number and for passing the current image information with an alarm message for the case in which the evaluation device detects a deviation between the current and other image information. The automatic selection device transfers the current information at defined times if the evaluation device detects agreement between the current and other image information. An Independent claim is also included for a method of passing image information.
