<p>The invention concerns a field emitter array capable of microwave modulation, comprising at least an array (R) of emissive tips, means for producing a microwave modulation signal including a semiconductor element (S) controllable in microwave modulation in the proximity of the tips and a short micro-line (L) for routing the modulation signal towards the array of tips which produces an impedance adaptation between the array of tips (R) and the modulation semiconductor element (S).
