CYCLIC PEPTIDES AND AIDS VACCINES

摘要

Cyclic peptides containing as constituting strand(s) one or two amino acid sequences selected from among amino acid sequences Glu-Ala-Asp-Asp-Arg and S er- Gln-Lys-Glu-Gly; and AIDS vaccines containing these cyclic peptides as the active ingredient. Preferably, a cyclic dodecapeptide represented by formula (I) and an AIDS vaccine containing this peptide as the active ingredient. Fr om the viewpoints of absorption in vivo and antibody expression, it is desirabl e that active groups selected from carboxyl, amino and hydroxyl groups contain ed in these peptides are attached to substituents. The above cyclic dodecapepti de can neutralize the second receptor in the infection of human beings with HIV -1 virus.
