The nozzle has a flow passage(1) which has no core and with a wall in the form of an at least two-start screw thread. The screw thread-form wall has a contour in the form of a screw profile(3) with a depth(T) of thread at least 1/5 of the external diameter(8). The shape of the screw profile may have a rounded contour. The cross sectional face(Ag) of each thread is at least half times as large as the cross sectional face(Ad) of the circle inscribed in the screw profile. An Independent claim is included for an application for the proposed nozzle which may be for the injection of fuels in combustion engines, and especially Otto engines and diesels.
